Donald J. Gilbert

Donald J. Gilbert, age 67 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Friday, May 18, 2007. Born November 7, 1939 in Cleves, OH he was the son of the late Fred J. & Evelyn (Reed) Gilbert. Mr. Gilbert was a US Army Veteran during the Vietnam era, member of Faith Baptist Church & Local Teamster Union #114. He was dock worker for Kroger. He married Dorothea Mae McQueen on October 10, 1982 in W. Harrison, OH. She preceded him in death on March 25, 2007. Mr. Gilbert is survived by his daughter Debbie Gilbert & step children Elaine (Glenn) Bowlin, Steven (Susan) Maze, Michael (Lisa) Maze & John "Buddy" (Pam) Maze; sisters Yuthona May (Henry) Blanton, Evelyn Jean (Gary) Heinzelman and brother Fred (Mary) Gilbert, Jr.; grandchildren Christen, Lauren, Nicholas, Samantha, Sassha, Mark & Benjamin. Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 5-8 PM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Services will be Friday, May 25, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home with Rev. David Heinzelman officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, OH.
