Donald R. Bennett

Donald R. Bennett, age 78 of Harrison, OH passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Mercy West Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.  Born November 13, 1938 at his home in Miamitown, OH he is the son of the late Robert & Mary Lucille (Cormican) Bennett.

Donald worked for A&P and later IGA in Harrison, OH as the produce manager.  He found great joy in owning and riding his motorcycle.  He bought his first motorcycle at the age of 16 in the 1950’s.  He had a great affection for his pets and also enjoyed fishing.

Donald was first married to Mary Lou (Lambros) Bennett to which his children Chris (Margo) & Becky were born.  He later married Yvonne (Emery) Bennett to which his son Anthony was born and his stepson Scott.  He will also be missed by his grandchildren Chloe, Jessica & James; and his brothers James Allen (Wanda) Bennett, William Hugh Bennett and Paul David (Sharon) Bennett and niece & nephew Stephanie & Todd.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 1:00pm until time of services at 2:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Larimer officiating.  Burial will follow services in Glen Haven Cemetery.
