Donald H. Allen

Donald H. “Big Moose” Allen, age 80, of Brookville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in Batesville, Indiana. He was born the son of John and Anna (Seevers) Allen on September 25, 1943, in Batesville, Indiana.

A North Dearborn High School graduate, he was a boom truck operator for A&H for many years, Donald loved to be outdoors, mowing grass, and had a love and appreciation of tractors, especially red ones.

He is survived by his children Jim (Amy) Allen and Don (Bridget) Allen, his five grandchildren Brandy (Cassandra) Allen, Derek (Morgan) Allen, Carlie (Bobby) Weber, Steven Lundsford, and Joseph Lundsford, many great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law Carol Allen.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents John and Anna Allen, his son Ron Allen, brothers Dale Allen and Bob Feller, and his sister Carol Jean Scheibel.

A celebration of Donald’s life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
