Dolores O. Pope-Garver

Dolores “Babe” Pope-Garver, age 89 of Harrison, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Harrison, Ohio.  Born July 22, 1932 in Harrison, Ohio, the daughter of William and Mary (Minges) Hoerst.

Dolores is survived by her husband George Garver.  Mother of Rick (Susan) Pope, Jan (Dave) Gartenman, Ray (Janice) Pope, Kathy (Gene) Shepard, Margie (Joe) Geisler, Willie (Ann) Pope, Sharon (Dave) Lutz and Phil (Lisa) Pope.  Grandmother of 20, great grandmother of 30.  Dear sister of Marcella “Sally” Kocher.

Preceded in death by her first husband Edwin Pope, grandchildren, Lisa and Christopher Pope, great grandchildren and siblings Margie, Marie, Florene, Joe and Bill.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:30 A.M. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Burial will follow at Elizabethtown Cemetery, Stephens Road North Bend, Ohio.
