Denny Jackson was born in Hamilton, Ohio in 1942 to Stanley and Vera. He grew up the middle child in the small farming town of Bright, Indiana with older sister Rosella and younger sister Nancy. He graduated with honors from the University of Indiana and earned his MBA from the University of Oklahoma. His first job was with the Brunswick Corporation and he never left. He spent 25 of those years in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Zebco. Tulsa became his second home where he helped raise two children, Doug and Leigh Anne, pursued his passion of custom cars and motorcycles and developed many valued friendships. His first wife of 36 years, Susan, was taken too soon due to a car accident. He later married his second wife, Peggy, and became a loved member of another great family. Denny passed away suddenly but peacefully last week, March 12, 2015. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather and friend. The loss his loved ones feel is immeasurable, but it is tempered with the knowledge that his faith was strong and he is in Heaven with his family and friends that passed before. Until we meet again, rest well. Services will be Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 10:00am until time of services at 12:00pm at Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church in Bright, IN with Pastor Scott Stephens officiating. Burial will follow services in Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation c/o Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH.
