Delcie May Ellis

Delcie May (West) Ellis, age 85 years of Harrison, OH, passed away Monday, February 14, 2005 in Cincinnati, OH. She was born on January 30, 1920 in Winfield, TN to Andy Garfield and Viola (Strunk) West and married Harlin Ellis on October 9, 1945, who preceded her in death in April 2002. Mrs. Ellis is survived by her sons Melvin (Elizabeth) Ellis of Okeana, OH and James West of Union, OH; her grandchildren Robert & Kenneth Ellis, Eli Gabbard, Lynn Littlefield, Wanda Waller, Denice Bender, Duane, Gail, Brian, Sharon & Mark West; 31 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Janice Davis, grandchild Randy Waller & her four siblings. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005: 11am-1pm followed by funeral services at 1:00pm all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH with Rev. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Garden Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Fund.
