It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Deborah Hope Gaebel, age 75, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister on October 1, 2026, in Fairfield, Ohio.
Deborah was the true anchor and the beating heart of our family, a steady source of unconditional love, warmth, and guidance who kept us all safely grounded. She was a woman of profound wisdom and our ultimate guide in life. She possessed an innate ability to listen and always knew what to say. Her comforting advice was a beacon of light for her children and grandchildren, and her words of wisdom will continue to shape our lives for generations to come.
Her passion for cooking was beautifully reflected in her home. She cherished her extensive collection of cookbooks and took immense pride in her unique collection of rolling pins, each holding a special story and memory.
More than anything, she poured her entire soul into her family. She was our confidante, our biggest cheerleader, and the glue that held us together through every season of life. Her legacy of warmth, hospitality, and fierce devotion will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
Survived by her daughters Heather Gaebel, Melissa (Jerome) Burns, and Rachael Frady. Grandmother of Harrison, Patrick, and Mary. Great grandmother of Chassady, Cayden, and Atreus. Sister of Julie Sutton, Pam King, Renee King, Roger (Marti) McGrath, and Danny King.
Preceded in death by her parents Julius and Ruth (Hill) King, and brother Donny King.
Services will be held privately at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.
