Darrel E. Palmer

Darrel Earl Palmer, age 76, of Harrison, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born August 28, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Glen and Margaret (Keiffer) Palmer.

Darrel, a 1965 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School, married Susan Burge September 6, 1969, at the United Methodist Church in Harrison, Ohio.  He worked as a Construction Electrician building Substations for CG&E for many years after serving his Country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.  Darrel was a member and Past Master of Snow Lodge #193 F&AM, I.O.O.F Lodge #140, Past Patron of Eastern Star Marvin Chapter #376, Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, North Bend Mark Master No. 1, Amvets Post #13, Life member of American Legion Post #199, Life member of VFW Post #7570, and Harrison Moose Lodge #2633.

Darrel is survived by his loving wife Susan Palmer.  Father of Dennis (Sarah) Palmer and grandfather of Aiden and Liam Palmer. Brother of Jimmy (Diane) Palmer.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until time of services at 1:00 P.M., with Rev. Dr. Joshua Long officiating, all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, Ohio with military honors provided by the United States Army and Harrison Honor Guard.
