Dana H. Geeding

Dana Howard Geeding, age 68, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away at home on Thursday, December 7, 2023, in Harrison, Ohio surrounded by his loving family.

Born the son of Robert and Jane (Rohrer) Geeding on June 21, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he became a 1974 graduate of Oak Hills High School.  Dana married his sweetheart, Karen L. Wolford, on June 25, 1983 at the First Presbyterian Church in Harrison, Ohio.  He was a mechanic for Bob Sumerel Tire and Advanced Mobil Fleet, he enjoyed grilling and smoking meats, mostly just him and his dog.

Dana is survived by his wife, Karen L. Geeding, son Troy (Sara) Geeding, his grandchildren Weston and Walker Geeding, brother Anthony “Tony” Geeding” and sister Beth Ann (Erik) Berger.  He is also survived by his beloved dog, Roxie.

Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Jane Geeding and his sister Susan Amy Swearingen.

A celebration of Dana’s life will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Dana, to Ohio Basset Hound Rescue, P.O. Box 413, Brookville, Ohio 45309 or in care of the funeral home.
