Dakota "Buddy" Rosemeyer

Dakota (Buddy) Lee Rosemeyer, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the age of 29. He was born on September 2, 1993, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Stacey (Smith) Parrella and Anton Rosemeyer. He was raised in Harrison and graduated from William Henry Harrison High School in 2011. After graduating high school, Dakota worked various jobs with an excelled skill level and landed on a career at Faxon Firearms as a machine operator where he built guns, and he really enjoyed his job. When he wasn’t working or sleeping, he enjoyed playing his video games and spending time with friends at his favorite local hangout spots. However, anyone who knew Dakota knew that his number one passion in life was his family and being the best “Brother”, he could be to his sisters by choice. Dakota was a very loving son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dakota is survived by his mother, Stacey (Smith) Parrella and her fiancé Robert Riddle, father Anton “Tony” (Tarinda Cotton) Rosemeyer sisters by choice: Karly Meyer, Kendra Turner, Savannah Hennen, along with other siblings Sakora (Gabriel) Ruelas and brother Anthony Rosemeyer. His Uncle Darren and Aunt Linda Smith, Uncle Doug and Aunt Vicki Rosemeyer and his Aunt Jennifer (Michael) Satterfield. His cousins Dustin and Dalton Smith, his paternal grandmother Kitty Allen Rosemeyer, paternal grandfather Ron Rosemeyer, and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Dakota was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and Walter Smith, and sister Daylin Parrella.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dakota’s name can be directed to the family.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 5, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Hom e, 215 East Broadway, Harrison, Ohio 45030. A burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cleves, Ohio.
