Clyde "Cappy" B. Ragar

Clyde "Cappy" B. Ragar age 92, of Harrison, Ohio passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at Hospice of Cincinnati Twin Towers.  Born July 13, 1925 in Harrison, Ohio the son of Bernard Ragar and Mary (Wise) Ragar.

Cappy graduated from Harrison High School in 1943, worked as an Iron Worker for many years.  Served his country during WWII in the US Army.  Married Gladys Fleek July 11, 1958 in Lansing Michigan.  Member of St. John The Baptist Church Harrison, Lifetime member of the American Legion Post #199, Charter member of VFW Post #7570 and Harrison Knights of Columbus Harrison, Ohio Council #2633.

Cappy is survived by his children Craig (Sue) Whitham of Harrison, Ohio and Shirley (John) Bonkowski of Harrison, Ohio.  Grandfather of Penny (Duane Cass) Bronkowski of Fort Worth, Texas, Erin (Pete Wiseman) Bonkowski of Cincinnati, Ohio and Zach (Danielle) Bonkowski of Ft Wright, Kentucky.  Brother of Betty Quatkemeyer of Cincinnati, Ohio, Alma (Bob) Rudisill and Mary Ann (Paul) Bybee both of Harrison, Ohio.

Preceded in death by his wife Gladys Ragar January 31, 2002 and his parents Bernard and Mary Ragar.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 5, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018 11:00 A.M. at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church 509 Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Burial will be in St. John The Baptist Cemetery Harrison, Ohio with Military graveside honors provided by the Harrison Honor Guard.  Memorials may be directed to St. John The Baptist building fund and/or Masses in Cappy's memory.
