Clifton Mcbride

Clifton McBride, age 72 of West Harrison, Indiana passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 at Mercy Western Hills Hospice. He was born on April 9, 1942 in Morehead, Kentucky and was the son of Odus & Susan (Tary) McBride. He retired from Lunkenhimer as a machinist and then worked for Harrison Machine for many years.

According to his family, Clifton liked to do just about everything and was a hard worker. His boss at Harrison Machine once said "Clifton, you're a genius!" He would do anything for anybody and took good care of his family along with his many friends. He will be missed very much.

Clifton is survived by his wife Christine (Jones) McBride, his sons Darryl (Lisa) McBride, Marvin (Cyndi) McBride, the Late Kevin (Denise) McBride & Patrick (Angela) McBride. He will also be missed by 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, his twin brother Cliff McBride and sisters Dorothy Woody & Shirley Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 9 siblings.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 4 to 8 pm with Funeral Services at 10:30am on Friday, August 8th, all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society c/o the funeral home.
