Clifton Collins

Clifton Collins, age 80 years of Sunman, IN passed away Monday, April 20, 2009 in Sunman. Born March 30, 1929 in Little Colly (Letcher Co.), KY he was the son of the late Byrd & Sadie (Adkins) Collins. He was a self employed carpenter. Mr. Collins is survived by his children Jeff (Dottie) Collins of St. Leon, IN; Jennifer Collins of Lawrenceburg, IN; Rodney Collins of Moores Hill, IN; Tina Hammons of Louisville, KY; Jack (Janice) Collins of Harrison, OH; Eddie (Nancy) Collins of Sunman, IN; Carol DeBruler of W. Harrison, IN & Chrissy (Jeff) Lanham of Sunman, IN. He will also be missed by his 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren & siblings Pebble Knopf, Goldie Moore, Clayton (Letha) Collins, Hoover (Brenda) Collins & Yvonne Collins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Terry Collins and siblings Esta, Bee, Ruby, Florence, Halbert, Bruce & Eliza. Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home with Chaplain Debby Allen officiating. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hubbles. In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Cliff Collins ALS Fund at any US Bank location.
