Clifford L. Ziegler

Clifford L. Ziegler, age 84 years of West Harrison, IN passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at his home. Born March 28, 1926 in Bright, IN he was the son of the late Henry & Cordella (Grubbs) Ziegler. Mr. Ziegler graduated from Bright High School in 1945 and was a Union Pipe Fitter, Local 292 for Gulf Oil for 30 years. He played softball for Henderson Auto Parts in the Over 50, 60 & 70's League and was a member of the Greensburg Eagles. He married Emma Dora Noel on June 12, 1948. Mr. Ziegler is survived by his children Bev Grawin of W. Harrison, IN and Douglas (Marla) Ziegler of Sunman, IN; grandchildren Kathleen (Dave) Randolph, Matthew (Bridgett) Ziegler & Luke (Torie Werner) Ziegler; great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Samantha and Noah Randolph; siblings Henry Eugene (Carol) Ziegler of W. Harrison, IN, Donald (Betty) Ziegler of Bright, IN, Loren (Patricia) Ziegler of New Trenton, IN; Nellie Callaway of Bright, IN, Bessie Callaway of Bright, IN, Rosella Carrol of Harrison, OH & Henrietta "Phronie" Eggleston of Saylor Park, OH; special friend Rosella Billman of Sunman, IN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Emma Dora Ziegler and sisters Clara Eggleston & Susie Retherford. Visitation will be Friday, May 28, 2010 from 10am until time of service at 2:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Father Frank Eckstein officiating. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Dearborn County or Dearborn County Relay for Life c/o the funeral home.
