Clayton Johnson

Clayton E. Johnson, age 82 of West Harrison, Indiana passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born September 26, 1938 in Dearborn County, Indiana the son of Emmert and Mable (Kaiser) Johnson.

Clayton, a 1956 Bright High School graduate, married Frances Grubbs August 4, 1962 at St. Lawrence Church in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.  Clayton owned and operated Johnson & Johnson Homes Inc. as a Custom home builder.  Served his country in the United States Army, member of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross in Bright and a Knights of Columbus member in Lawrenceburg.

Clayton is survived by his loving wife Frances Johnson.  Father of Jeff (Marty) Johnson, Jamie (Tonjia) Johnson and Jina (Kyle) Stroh.  Grandfather of Julie McAdams, Abby (Shawn) Westerfeld, Sean (Lauren) Johnson, Sydney Johnson, Casey Johnson, Clayton Muncy, Cara Muncy and Chance Muncy.  Great grandfather of Avery, Leo, Graham, Levi and Jordan.  Brother of Sonia (Bob) Kaffenberger, Charles “Chuck” (Thelma) Johnson.  Brother in law of Sally Johnson.

Preceded in death by his parents Emmert and Mable Johnson, grandson Jacob Muncy and brothers Don and Paul Johnson.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 P.M. all at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross 23345 Gavin Lane Lawrenceburg, Indiana.  Burial will follow at Gibson Cemetery with Military honors provided by the United States Army and Harrison Honor Guard.
