Clara Evelyn Taylor

Wednesday, February 24, 2021 Clara E. (Wilson) Taylor loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister passed away at the age 85 in Hamilton, Ohio.

Born December 6, 1935 in Winfield, TN the daughter of Carl and Alva May (Duncan) Wilson.  She has spent the last 60 years in Harrison, Ohio where she raised her family as a single mother working multiple jobs including being a nanny.  Clara raised five children, two grandchildren who were the light of her life and two great grandsons who hung the stars and moon. Clara gave everything she had and everything she was to her family until her very last moments.  She truly was our guardian angel.  Most importantly she was our grandma.

Clara is survived by her children Doug (Patty) Taylor, Lisa Taylor, Traci Taylor. Grandmother of Rachel (Robby) McCoy, Andrew Minor, Vicky, Nicole, Michael, Pat, Jon, Sherry, Jeana, Zachary and Terrance.  Great grandmother of 20.  Sister of Helen Cross of Winfield, TN.

Preceded in death by her parents Carl and Alva Wilson, children Judy and Pat, siblings Walter Bernard Wilson, Lois Blankenship, Gloria Walker, Roger Wilson and her favorite dog Buddy.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Burial will follow at New Haven Cemetery Harrison, Ohio 45030.
