Christine Mcbride

Christine McBride, age 79, of West Harrison, Indiana, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in West Harrison, Indiana. She was the daughter of Jessie Mize and Daily Jones born on September 5, 1945, in Tazewell, Tennessee.

She married the late Clifton McBride on March 31, 1962, in Covington, Kentucky. She worked for Cincinnati Public Schools for many years as a kitchen cook.

Christine is survived by her sons, Darryl (Lisa) McBride, Marvin (Cyndi) McBride, and Patrick McBride. She was a loving grandmother to her surviving seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Ronald Mize.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton McBride, her parents, Jessie Mize and Daily Jones, and her son, Kevin McBride.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating, all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030. A burial will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232 following the funeral.
