Charles Morgan

Charles Morgan, age 90 of West Harrison, IN passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at Shawneespring Health Care in Harrison, OH.  Born November 27, 1925 in Hamilton, OH he was the son of the late Daw & Jamimia (Retherford) Morgan.

Charles served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Harrison American Legion Post #199 & VFW Duwel Post # 7570.  He worked for GM/Fischer Body in Fairfield for 40 years.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Cledous Morgan (nee: Scott), his children Cheryl McConnell, Brenda (Robert) Damico & Daryl (Peggy) Morgan all of W. Harrison, IN.  He will also be missed by his 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and siblings Robert (Thelma) Morgan of Crittenden, KY & Jessie Allen of Miamisburg, OH.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Bill Morgan, Bessie Metcalf, Rose Moore, Ruth Sparks, Susie Wood, Nancy Smith & Callie Grubbs; and great grand daughter Destiny Damico.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH.  Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 2:00pm with Shawn Crisman officiating at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow services in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Brookville, IN with military honors.
