Charles J. Ibold

Charles J. Ibold, age 95 years of Bright, IN passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 in Cincinnati, OH. Born December 31, 1913 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of the late Albert & Elizabeth L. (Littlefield) Ibold. He married Virginia Laterro on April 14, 1940 in Cincinnati. Mr. Ibold worked as a mechanic for the City of Cincinnati, was a member of St. Teresa Benedicta and an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Virginia Ibold, children Charlene (Marvin) Lainhart of Fairfield, OH; Linda Rohe of Lebanon, OH; Kathy (Ronnie) Jeffries of Guilford, IN; Mary (Mike) Catron of Hebron, KY; Penny (Tony) Wilson of Knoxville, TN; Albert Ibold; Bob (Linda) Ibold of Orlando, FL; Michael (Vivian) Ibold of Logan, IN; Donald (Tracy) Ibold of Hamilton, OH & Mark Ibold of Bright, IN. He will also be missed by 34 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren & 1 great great grandson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Sonny Ibold, 1 grandson and siblings Catherine Walter & Clifford Ibold. Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2009 from 11am 1pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH followed by services at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are suggested to Holy Namce Church, 2448 Auburn Ave., Mt. Auburn, OH 45219.
