Charles Ocie Herald

Charles Ocie Herald, age 71 of Newport, KY passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 at his home. Born July 11, 1941 he was the son of Clabe & Clora (Hall) Herald. He retired from Ford in Sharonville as a forklift operator. The US Army veteran married Wanda Sue Turner on Mar. 2, 1968 in Newport, KY and she preceded him in death on June 22, 2011. Mr. Herald is survived by his sister-in-laws Angie Turner, Joyce Graham, Brenda Miller & Bessie Turner and brother-in-laws Coy Turner and Glen Turner. He will also be missed by his sister Marie West of Newport, KY. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 6 brothers & sisters. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 11:00am at the funeral home with David Miller officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass c/o the funeral home.
