Cecile Kathleen Eckstein

Cecile Kathleen Eckstein, age 72 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born January 26, 1937 in W. Harrison, IN she was the daughter of Henry & Hallie (Kolb) Kremer. She was a graduate of the ICA in Oldenburg, IN. On October 19, 1963 she married Louis Eckstein. She & her husband are members of St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison, OH & the Parkinson's Disease Support Network OKI. Mrs. Eckstein loved being outside in her yard gardening. She was a wonderful wife & mother and although there were 8 children, she always had time for all of them. Mrs. Eckstein is survived by her husband Louise Eckstein, children Victoria Gilligan of Blue Ash, OH; Louann (Daniel) Johnson of Brookville, IN; Renea (James) Ashcraft of Beaver Creek, OH; Janet (Joseph) Joyce of Hidden Valley, IN; Sandra (Dennis) Wagner of Southgate, KY; Louis M. Eckstein Jr. of W. Harrison, IN; Douglas (Leanna) Eckstein of Salem, OR & Stephen (Tricia) Eckstein of Delhi, OH. She will also be missed by her siblings Dorothy White & Charles Kremer both of W. Harrison, IN; 19 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry & Hallie Kremer, 1 grandson and siblings Elsie I. Kremer, Mary Ann Trenkamp, Martha Larkcom, Kathleen Kremer, Theodore W. Kremer & Frances Shannon. Visitation will be Friday, May 29, 2009 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10:00 am at St. John the Baptist Church, Harrison, OH with Father William Dorrmann officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH. Memorials are suggested to Parkinson's Disease Support Network OKI c/o the funeral home.
