Carolyn Streit-Roehrig

Carolyn Streit-Roehrig, age 68 of Harrison, OH passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at her residence. Born May 12, 1945 she was the daughter of Joseph & Bethuma (Jolly) Streit born in Cincinnati, OH. She graduated from William Henry Harrison High School in 1963 then went on to University of Cincinnati and Antioch University where she received her Bachelors in Science and her Masters in Arts. She retired from the Department of Energy as a Human Resource Specialist. Carolyn was a member of Miami Whitewater United Methodist Church where she was very active. She was also a member of Women in the Outdoors, Federally Employed Women, Mediation Council and the William Henry Harrison High School Alumni Assoc. Carolyn is survived by her daughters Eve (Carlos) Pierre of Northville, MI and Anna (Steve) Capenos of Dayton, OH. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Elle Marie Pierre and Ava Grace Pierre and her siblings Joann (Charles) Koch of Brookville, IN, Joyce (Francis) Lake of Cedar Grove, IN, Joseph Streit III of Aubruny, IN and Gus (Gail) Streit of Batesville, IN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Aaron Loos. Visitation will be Friday, March 7, 2014 from 3-5pm followed by funeral services at 5pm all at Miami Whitewater United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Barthel officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Holy Guardian Angel Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Miami Whitewater UMC or the Wm.
