Carolyn Schreibeis

Carolyn (Lake) Schreibeis, age 81 of Sunman, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born June 1, 1940 in Gray Hawk, Kentucky the daughter of Ruben and Lillie (Parrot) Sams.

Carolyn worked for Harrison Sand & Gravel for over 40 years.  Married Gene Schreibeis June 27, 1991 in Harrison, Ohio.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Gene Schreibeis.  Loving mother of Nellene (Steve) Krieg, Roger (Donna) Lake, Darian (Beth) Lake and Ray (Laura) Lake.  Dear Nana of Shelby, John, Madi, Maci, Claire, Cole, Kate, Aaron, Ellie and Tucker..  Sister to Mollie (Israel) Menchaca and Chris Summers.

Preceded in death by her parents Ruben and Lillie Sams, husband Melvin Lake and seven brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 14, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.  Private funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Burial will follow at Holy Guardian Angels Cemetery Cedar Grove, Indiana.

In Lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Fragile X Research & Treatment Center, Dr. Craig Erickson 3333 Burnet Ave. #2129 Cincinnati, Ohio 45229.
