Carolyn Sue Gabbard

Carolyn Sue Gabbard, age 68 passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her home in Bright, IN.  Born November 29, 1948 in Dearborn County, IN she is the daughter of the late Leo & Minnie (Seals) Brickner.

Carolyn graduated from William Henry Harrison High School and worked for Cincinnati Bell as an Installer.  She married Perry L. Gabbard on June 19, 1993 in Harrison.  She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion & Harrison Moose Lodge.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Perry L. Gabbard, sons Greg A. Johnson (Kimberly) of Cincinnati, OH and Steve Johnson of Hamilton, OH; her daughter Vikki Johnson (Greg Skinner) of Hamilton, OH.  She will be missed by her grandchildren Alex, Nathan, Jenna Rae, Joseph, Joshua & Jessie along with her siblings Judy Horn (Jerry) of Columbus, IN, Ray Brickner (Deloris) of Owensboro, KY and Dave Brickner of W. Harrison, IN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Curt Combs, Jim Brickner & Robert Brickner.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 10am until time of services at 12:00pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH.  Burial will follow services in Glen Haven Cemetery.
