Carol J. Stafford

Stafford Carol J. (Feller), age 51 of Brookville, IN formerly of Harrison, OH. Our sweet gentle good hearted wife and mother was freed from her suffering and sent to be with the other Angels and Saints on June 12 at Fort Hamilton. She was the daughter of Betty J. (Grubbs)& the late George O. Feller. On April 6, 1978 she married Gary Stafford. She has two son, Joseph of Brookville and Douglas of Harrison. Sister to George E. & John A. Feller and the late James Russell and Mary Ann. She is the daughter-in-law of Wallace Stafford and Versa Burns of Hooven. She is the sister-in-law to Phyllis Ashcraft, Greg Ball, Linda McConnell, Bob & Lynda Stafford, Chuck & Tammy Stafford, Patty Combs & Jr. and Larry & Mary Stafford. She has many aunts & uncles in the Harrison area. The family acknowledges all of her special friends, cousins and all of the wonderful people and nurses at Vitas Hospice of Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She graduated from Wm. Henry Harrison High School in 1973. Life member and past President 1984-1986 Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 199, member of St. John the Baptist Church of Harrison, member of the National Arbor Day Foundation for 6 years. She was an inventory clerk at Flour Fernald for 20 years. She enjoyed spending many hours working on her lawn and garden. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 15, 2007 at 10:00 am at St John the Baptist Church in Harrison. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 PM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery with Father Edward Shine offering prayer. Memorials are suggested to Vitas Hospice Ft. Hamilton Hospital or National Arbor Society c/o the funeral home.
