Buford Brown

Buford Brown, age 79 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Thursday, June 30, 2005 at his home in W. Harrison. Born September 16, 1925 in Jeremiah, KY he was the son of the late Andrew & Naomi (Blair) Brown. He was a 1942 graduate of Lynch, KY High School, a US Navy veteran during WWII, past commander of the Harrison VFW, member of the Harrison Amvets and a farmer. He married Anna Kalnasi in Chicago, IL on April 27, 1949. Mr. Brown is survived by his children Steve Brown of W. Harrison, IN; Christopher (Bonnie) Brown of W. Harrison, IN and Mary T. Siler of Scottsdale, AZ; 3 granddaughters Angela, Rebecca and Christie Brown; sister Brenda Cox and brother James Brown and close friend Kay Wilkerson of New Trenton, IN. In addition to his parents and wife Anna Brown, he was preceded in death by his son Robert Douglas Brown and 5 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2005 from 5-8pm (Fast Time) at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 11:00 AM (Fast Time) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, IN with military graveside rites by the Harrison Funeral Detail. Memorials are suggested to the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Children's Home in Knightstown, IN c/o the funeral home.
