Bill Helton, Sr.

Bill “Bigsby” Helton, Sr. age 69 of Cleves, OH passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH.  Born September 13, 1947 in Rockholds, KY he was the son of Denvil & Maxine (Jones) Helton.

Bill, a 1966 graduate of Central High School in Cincinnati, served his country during Vietnam in the Marine Corp.  He was a member of the Eagles in Cleves, OH and a life-time member of the American Legion & VFW.  He married Frances Kennedy on October 25, 1975 in Delhi.

Bill is survived by his wife Frances Helton; children Stacy Helton & Randy Helton both of Cleves, OH.  He will also be missed by his grandchildren Austin, Auttaum, Alexsys, Carter & Kyle; great grandson Maximus and sister Sharon Hodge of Saylor Park, OH.  He is preceded in death by his father Denvil Helton and his son William Helton Jr.

Visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4pm until time of memorial services at 6pm with military honors to follow all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Memorials are suggested to VA Hospital MICU unit c/o the funeral home.
