Bige Hensley, age 94 of Harrison, OH passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at The Knolls of Oxford. Born September 24, 1916 in Bar Creek, KY he was the son of the late Chester & Mollie (Muncie) Hensley. The WWII Marine retired from Cincinnati Incorporated as a crane rigor and was a member of Auburn Old Time Holiness Church. He was married to Annie Napier on November 27, 1938 in Harlan Co., KY. Mr. Hensley is survived by his children Jean (Frank) Lucas of Okeana, OH; Paul (Roberta) Hensley of Guilford, IN; Blevins (Wanda) Hensley of Harrison, OH & Danny (Brenda) Hensley of Liberty, IN. He will also be missed by 10 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents & wife Annie Hensley, he was preceded in death by his sons Henry & Lloyd Hensley, brothers Earl, Paul, Raleigh, Alfred & Roy Hensley and his sister Alpha Hensley Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 4-7pm followed by services at 7pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH wit Rev. Jeff Hensley officiating. Military Funeral Rites to follow by the Harrison Funeral Detail. Visitation will also be held Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 1-3pm at Mt. Pleasant Mortuary, 122 N. Cumberland, Ave., Harlan, KY 40831. Burial will be in Napier Cemetery at Bledsoe in Harlan County, KY.
