Betty P. Meyers

Betty P. Meyers, age 84 of West Harrison, Indiana passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Ripley Crossing in Milan, Indiana.  Born February 28, 1933 in Augusta, Kentucky the daughter of Theodore Power and Anna L (Adams) Power.

Betty married Gene Meyers September 18, 1954 at First Christian Church Harrison, Ohio.  Betty was a member of Legacy Christian Church but also attended St. John UCC in Harrison, Ohio and St. John UCC Penntown.  She loved to bake, sew and work in her garden but most of all she loved being with her family.

Betty is survived by her children Dan (Judy) Meyers of West Harrison, Indiana and Diana (Larry) Richter of Sunman, Indiana.  Grandma of Rachel, Zachary, Elizabeth and Kylie.  Great grandma of Madison, Kiersten and Wyatt.  Sister of Loren (Susan) Power and Joyce Lovio.

Preceded in death by her husband Gene Meyers and parents Theodore and Anna Power.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Harold Shackelford officiating.  Burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery Harrison, Ohio.  Memorials may be directed to St. John UCC Harrison and/or St. John UCC Penntown c/o Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.
