Betty Lou Clark

Betty Lou Clark, age 96 of New Trenton, Indiana passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born February 27, 1923 in Clearsprings, Indiana the daughter of Perry and Lestie (Clampitt) Maples.

Betty married James Russell Clark December 9, 1939 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. In Betty's younger years she worked at Husman's Poultry House. She was known for baking wedding and birthday cakes for relatives and friends. She was also known for baking the best homemade angel food cakes. In addition to baking, Betty's chicken and dumplings were a family favorite.  One of Betty's hobbies included sitting on the porch to enjoy the outdoors and keep up with the traffic, and on occasion, you would find Betty napping too! Betty loved her children and grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all.

Betty is survived by her children Phyllis Lane of Rising Sun, Indiana, Barbara Rock of Batesville, Indiana, Jim (Gerri) Clark of New Trenton, Indiana, David (Deborah) Clark of St. Cloud, Florida and Stephen (Margaret) Clark of New Trenton, Indiana.  Grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother of 57.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents Perry and Lestie Maples, husband James Clark and siblings Raymond Maples, Hazel Johnson, Beulah Mericle, Mildred Johnson and Deloris Maples, granddaughter Sandra Clark and Betsy Lane, grandson Keith Clark and great granddaughter Jenna Clark.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Harrison, Ohio.
