Betty J. Carr

Betty J. Carr, age 83 passed away Friday morning, August 19, 2016 in Lawrenceburg, IN.  Born December 5, 1932 in Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of Joseph & Elfreda (Spangler) Madden.  On October 9, 1948 she married Herman J. Carr in Lawrenceburg.

Betty is survived by her children Bonnie Hass (Stephen) of Lawrenceburg, IN; Chad Carr (Janie) of Cedar Grove, In; Brenda Upchurch (Curtis) of Canaan, IN and Brad Carr (Kim) of Sunman, IN.  She will also be missed by her grandchildren Jeff Baum (Rita), Sherry Baum, Doug Baum (Missy), Shelly Ramey (Tony), Jason Haas, Andy Haas (Hallie), Matt Haas, Scott Carr, Nick Carr, Chris Carr (Michelle), Rodney Upchurch, Kevin Barth, Luke Carr & Heather Carr; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter & siblings Joyce Clark of Bright, IN & Joe Madden (Carol) of Harrison, OH.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 2011 Herman J. Carr, her daughter Carol Baum and her brother Danny Madden.

Visitation will be Monday, August 22, 2016 from 11am until time of services at 1pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Pastor Dave Garrett officiating.  Burial will follow services in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, OH.  Memorials are suggested to Parkinson’s Foundation c/o the funeral home.
