Bertha W Smith

Bertha W. Smith, age 86 of W. Harrison, IN passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Shawneespring Care Center in Harrison, OH.  Born July 9, 1929 in Manchester, KY, she was the daughter of the late Jim & Martha (Cottingham) Hibbard.  She worked for Sperry Rubber Company and attended the Church on Fire.

Bertha is survived by her children Bernice Gilbert (Larry) of West Harrison, IN; Danny Smith (Julie) of Livingston, MT and Brenda Garrison of Owenton, KY.  She will also be missed by her 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Donna Vaughn and 15 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 10:00am until time of services at 12 noon at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Matt Gorrasi officiating.  Burial will follow services in Vine Street Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.
