Beatrice C. (Ernst) Mcclure

McClure Beatrice C. (Ernst) McClure, 87, formerly of Harrison, Ohio, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on March 4, 2007 at Friendship Village of Dublin, Ohio after a long, courageous struggle with heart disease. She was born on March 4, 1920 near Sardinia Ohio in Brown County to the late Emma (List) and Frank Ernst. Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Stanley William McClure and survived by her daughter, Elizabeth McClure Zola (George Edward Zola), grandsons, William Christopher Zola and Michael Joseph Zola, and many nieces and nephews. She worked for the Army Map Service, Corps of Engineers, for 13 years while living in Washington, DC. She was a devout Catholic her entire life and active in volunteer activities for Annunciation Church and School in Washington, DC, St Matthias Church in Forest Park, Ohio, and St John the Baptist Church and School in Harrison, Ohio for many years. Visitation will be at the Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, 215 E Broadway Avenue, Harrison, Ohio on Thursday, March 8 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will follow at St John the Baptist Church at 10:30 AM, 110 North Hill Street, Harrison, Ohio, with burial in the St John the Baptist Parish Cemetery. Heartfelt thanks from Beatrice's family to the caring staff at Friendship Village of Dublin, Ohio, where her last years were spent. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory in lieu of flowers to the Memorial Fund/Meadows at Friendship Village.
