Barbara Saunders

Barbara Saunders, age 68 of W. Harrison, IN passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Shawneespring Care Center in Harrison, OH. Born May 24, 1947 in Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of Jack & Dorothy (Foppe) McDonald.

Barbara was a 1967 graduate of Seton High School and was a receptionist for Glenway Sheet Metal. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and married to Thomas Saunders.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Jennifer (John) Malott of Cincinnati, OH; 6 grandchildren and siblings Carol (Thurman) Hiatt of W. Harrison, IN, Jack (Bonnie) McDonald of Cleves, OH, Michael (Barbara) McDonald of Cleves, OH, William (Toni) McDonald of Osgood, IN, Tim (Beth) McDonald of Cincinnati, OH and Ed (Jackie) McDonald of Cincinnati, OH.   She will also be missed by many nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Saunders and her son Jeff Saunders.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 10am – 11am at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am at St. John the Baptist Church with Rev. William J. Dorrmann officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery.
