April Minor

April Minor, age 70, of Cleves, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, in Kenwood, Ohio. She was born on March 20, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Pearl and Jean (Back) Barnett.

April worked in marketing and advertising, and she married the late Cecil Lynn Minor on February 18, 1984, in Oregon.

She is survived by her children, Jessica (Bruce) Graham and Kim Doane, her grandchildren, Kayla (Scott) Collins, Becky Bowshier, Amanda Bowshier, Anna Bowshier, and Jonathan Graham, and great-grandchildren, Hallie Palmer, Ashlyn Gregory, and Hudson Stephens. She is also survived by her brothers, Dwayne (Brigaida) Barnett and Arthur Barnett, and sisters Patricia Fugate, Sarah Campbell, and Donna (Ricky) McAdams. Also surviving is her first husband, Curtis Doane, whom she remained friends with until the end.

April was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Lynn Minor, her parents, Pearl and Jean Barnett, brothers, John Andrew Barnett and Earl Barnett, and sister, Brenda Barnett.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Western Bowl, 6383 Glenway Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
