Anthony "Dale" Blanton

Anthony "Dale" Blanton, age 59, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away at his home surrounded by his family Wednesday, May 2, 2018.  Born November 3, 1958 in Hamilton, ohio the son of Ira V. Blanton Sr. and Frances (Petree) Ashcraft.

Dale worked as a Medical Records Coder for over 30 years with University of Cincinnati Hospital.  Graduated from Cincinnati State Community College.  Married Cathy Mobley November 4, 1979 at St John United Church of Christ Harrison, Ohio.

Dale is survived by his wife Cathy Blanton of Colerain Township, Ohio. Father of Jennifer Blanton of Colerain Township, Ohio. Grandpa of Lucas Wopperer.  Brother of Debbie (Doug Shaffer) Blanton of Harrison, Ohio, Ira "Vern" (Brenda) Blanton Jr. of Huber Heights, Ohio. Dale also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews and sister in law Debbie (Gene) Turner of Sayler Park, Ohio.

Preceded in death by his parents Ira Blanton and Frances Ashcraft  and two brothers William D. Blanton and Mike Bales.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 7, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 7:00 P.M. all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030 with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating.
