Annie Hensley

Annie Hensley, age 87 years of Harrison, OH passed away Monday, October 19, 2009 at Glendale Care Center in Cincinnati, OH. Born April 7, 1922 in Harlan County, KY she was the daughter of the late Bradley & Mary (Givens) Napier. She was a homemaker and member of the Auburn Old Time Holiness Church. Mrs. Hensley is survived by her husband of 72 years Bige Hensley; children Jean (Frank) Lucas of Okeana, OH; Paul (Roberta) Hensley of Guilford, IN; Blevins (Wanda) Hensley of Harrison, OH; Danny (Brenda) Hensley of Liberty, IN and the late Henry Hensley & Lloyd Hensley. Grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 14. Dear sister of Cinda Gordon of Arlington, TX; Frank Napier of Corbin, KY; Donald Givens of Rosehill, VA; Dallas Givens of Illinois; Arthur Givens of Anderson, IN and the late Bertha Ray, Cammie Griffith, Mallie Brock, Pearl Evans, Dora Roddy and Billie Bernard. Visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 4-7pm followed by services at 7pm all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH and Friday, October 23, 2009 from 1-3pm at Mount Pleasant Mortuary in Harlan, KY with Rev. Granville Saylor, Rev. Jeff Hensley & Rev. John Whitehead officiating. Burial will be in Napier Cemetery at Bledsoe in Harlan County, KY.
