Anna Catherine (Woodrum)Kleinfeld of Bright, IN died August 26, 2013 at the Alois Alzheimer Center of Cincinnati at the age of 75. Ann was born Oct. 13, 1937 at 107 E. Church St., St. Bernard, OH, daughter of Carl & Susan Woodrum. She loved her family and friends and was known to many as "Boots". Ann was the devoted wife of David R. Kleinfeld who affectionately called her "Pooz". Married March 20, 1976 together they built their home on Jenny Lynn Dr. in Bright, IN. David & "Pooz" lived there until David's passing on Feb. 14, 2012. Ann started her schooling at St. Aloysius in Elmwood Place, OH. She attended Our Lady of Angels High School and graduated from Harrison High in 1955. After attending Miller Business College she worked for General Electric in Evendale. Ann began her insurance career in Cincinnati at INA Life moving to Union Central Life and in 1973 joined the Cincinnati Life Ins. Co. at its inception. Ann earned the distinction of being elected Assistant Vice President and Director of Marketing. Ann finished her career at Ohio Casualty of Hamilton retiring in 1993. Ann had a very caring nature and gave of herself to many causes. She served as a volunteer at Hospice of Cincinnati and was a VIP for Great Parks of Hamilton County. Her personal favorite was working at Shaker Trace Nursery to save wildflowers. In addition to her husband and parents, two brothers Virgil "Sonny" of Harrison, OH & Michael Woodrum of Saylor Park, OH preceded her in death. Ann is survived by 3 sisters Juanita (Eddie) Laubert of Randolph, OH, Rita (Clyde) Hackathorne of Midland, OH & Shedna "Cookie" (Willie) Slayback of Harrison, OH and 1 brother Frank (Joyce) Woodrum of Hartwell, GA. Also brother-in-law Thomas (Sharon) Kleinfeld of Talahoma, TN and sister-in-law Bonita Woodrum of Saylor Park, OH and many nieces & nephews. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-5pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Mass will follow at 6pm at St. Teresa Benedicta in Bright, IN. Food & fellowship immediately after services. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Parks of Hamilton County, 10245 Winton Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231 c/o "Shaker Trace Nursery".
