Amy Lynn Janney, age 58 years of Harrison, OH passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the Mercy Medicenter in Harrison, OH. Born May 27, 1953 in Penn Yan, NY she is the daughter of Shirley (Jorgensen)Simmons Roe & the late James Simmons. She married Donald Janney in Bellona, NY on September 6, 1975. The 1971 graduate of Penn Yan Academy was a member of the Harrison Amvet Auxiliary and the Harrison American Legion Auxiliary. Amy is survived by her husband Donald Janney, mother & step father Shirley & Paul Roe of Bellona, NY, children Drew (Pam) Janney of Harrison, OH & Carley McKenzie of Crestview KY.,grandchildren Nick Slayback, Jasmine Jenney & Kinsleigh McIntosh, sisters Tammy Zona & Joy O'Byrne and brothers Paul, JD & Farrell Simmons and Steven Roe. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 5-7pm followed by services at 7pm all at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating.
