Alvin Haas

Alvin Haas, age 68 of Cincinnati, OH passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at his home. Born January 21, 1944 in Hamilton, OH he was the son of the late Wilfred & Marian (Bleill) Haas. Mr. Haas graduated from William Henry Harrison High School in 1962, Ball State University in 1966 and received his Masters from Xavier University. He taught for 33 years at Finneytown High School and was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church Taylors Creek for 43 years. He married Carole Bolser on August 20, 1966 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Mr. Haas is survived by his wife Carole Haas, children Mike (Sydney) Haas of Fairfield, OH & Kathy Haas of Cincinnati, OH. He will also be missed by his grandsons Kellen & Matthew Haas. Visitation will be Friday, October 12, 2012 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Father Don Siciliano, will be Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10:00am at St. Bernard Catholic Church Taylors Creek, 7130 Harrison Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45247. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Harrison, OH.
