Alma Clara 'Whitey' Sparto

Alma Clara "Whitey" Sparto, age 58 years of Bright, IN passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2009 in Bright. Born June 23, 1950 in Norfolk, VA she was the daughter of the late Robert & Alma (Grimm) Mann. She worked at Clipperts and graduated from Harrison High School in 1969. She married Mark Sparto on August 12, 1995 in Harrison, OH. Mrs. Sparto is survived by her husband Mark Sparto, daughter Alicia York of Harrison, OH & son Uriah Darby of Harrison, OH. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Erica Sandman, Derek Sandman, Marissa York, Cameron Darby & Cody Darby and sister Carolyn Finley of Harrison, OH. Visitation will be Friday, January 23, 2009 from 5-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Services will be Saturday at 10:00am at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to PAWS of Dearborn County.
