Alice J Geiger

Alice J. Geiger age 88, of Bright, Indiana passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Mercy West Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born November 4, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Bernard Wise and Rose Rief.

Married Eugene "Chink" Geiger  September 9, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Alice along with her husband Chink owned and operated Geiger's Country Corner at Findlay Market in Cincinnati, Ohio from 1964 to 1996.  Member of Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church Bright, Indiana, she also was a volunteer at the North Dearborn Food Pantry.

Alice is survived by her daughter Jean (Tom) Bender of Logan, Indiana.  Grandmother of Jayme (Matt) Miller and Tommy Bender.  Sister of Rosemary Jones of Greenville, Pennsylvania, Betty Calhoun and Thelma Burt both of Cambridge, Ohio.  Also survived by her sister-in-law Fay Wise of Cincinnati, Ohio and her beloved dog Oreo.

Preceded in death by her husband Eugene "Chink" Geiger, brothers Sam Wise and Henry Wise.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:30 A.M. all at Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church 25365 Stateline Road Lawrenceburg, Indiana 47025 with Pastor Scott Stephans officiating.  Burial will follow at Gibson Cemetery Bright, Indiana.  In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Bright Lions Club, North Dearborn Food Pantry or Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church c/o the Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030.
