Alfred Remillard

Alfred Paul Remillard, age 88, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at his home in Harrison, OH.  Born May 8, 1927 in Woonsocket, RI and was the son of Alfred & Albina Remillard.

Alfred married June L. Hirt on November 20, 1954 at St. Aloysius in Saylor Park, OH.  He graduated from the University of Rhode Island then went to work for AEP in Lawrenceburg, IN where he was a mechanical engineer.  He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison, was an avid Reds fan and loved listening to Big Band Music.

Alfred is survived by his children Elisa M. Hendricks (John) of Harrison, OH, Lindsey M. Mossburger of Cincinnati, OH, Christopher P. Remillard (Nancy) of Franklin, OH & Anthony P. Remillard (Sally) of Land 0’lakes, FL.  He will also be missed by his 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and his special friend, Lois Henson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife June L. Remillard in 1989 and his sister Lucille Damon.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 6-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11:00am at St. John the Baptist Church with Rev. William J.  Dorrmann officiating.  Burial will follow services in St. John Cemetery.
