Albert Joseph Schoonover

Albert Joseph Schoonover, age 81 of Brookville, IN passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 at Brookville Health Care. Born April 18, 1931 in Franklin County, IN he was the son of James & Avanella (Hart) Schoonover. He worked for the Seasongood Box Company and was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookville. Mr. Schoonover is survived by his daughters Cindy (Garry) Smith of Brookville, IN & Margo (Gary) Woods of Bristol, TN, grandchildren Sharon (Jamie) Moles, Ashley (Shane Bailey) Bolser, Stacy Schoonover & Brenna Nicolette Olvera and siblings James A. Schoonover of Hamilton, OH Mary Bischoff of W. Harrison, IN, June Allen of Milan, IN, Esther Ruth Taylor of W. Harrison, IN, Mildred Meshew of Elizabethtown, KY and great granddaughter Addrianna Helton. He will also be missed by his step family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lillie B. (Jones) Schoonover and siblings James F., Louis H. & Paul M. Schoonover. Visitation will be Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6-8pm at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Friday at 10:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Watson officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Church of the Nazarene Building Fund or Hospice of Indianapolis c/o the funeral home.
