Albert Esterkamp

Albert Esterkamp, age 82 of Okeana, OH passed away Tuesday, December 03, 2013 at Heartland Nursing Home in Cincinnati, OH. Born December 10, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of William & Leona Esterkamp. Albert was a truck driver for Ruben Brothers in Miamitown & Alvis also in Miamitown. He married Joyce Brock on December 5, 1951 in Lawrenceburg, IN, was a graduate of Morgan High School, member of St. John the Baptist Church and served his country in the US Marine Corp. Albert is survived by his wife Joyce Esterkamp, his children Debbie (Late Donald) Huff, Albert (Kim) Esterkamp, Nancy Lowe, Dennis Esterkamp, RuthAnn Esterkamp, Bonnie (John) Knue, Jennifer Esterkamp & Jerry Esterkamp. He will also be missed by his 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and siblings Gilbert Esterkamp, Glenn Esterkamp, Jeanette Myers & Shirley Esterkamp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Marian (Lamonte) Richardson and his brother Bill Esterkamp. Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 9am until time of services at 11:00am at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. Memorials are suggested to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
